"(You're My One and Only) True Love" was a hit single by Seduction. It peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, #56 on the R&B chart, and #3 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart. It was an unexpected[citation needed] success, achieving Gold certification in the United States. This result ultimately opened the door for producers Robert Clivillés and David Cole of the C+C Music Factory to release Seduction's first album, Nothing Matters Without Love. Lead vocals were performed by an uncredited Martha Wash.
