On December 17, 2016, at around 21:30 (UTC+3) four masked people attacked the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) office in the Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul, located at a shopping mall. The attackers managed to overcome the security personnel and started a fire, which caused the explosions of the two gas tubes inside the building.
