The 1891 Penn State Nittany Lions football team represented the Pennsylvania State University in the 1891 college football season.[1] The team played its home games on the Old Main lawn in University Park, Pennsylvania.

Despite the article title, the school did not adopt the Nittany Lion as its mascot until 1907.
