The 1926 Fresno State Bulldogs football team represented Fresno State Normal School[note 1] during the 1926 college football season.

Fresno State competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC).[note 2] The 1926 team was led by head coach Arthur W. Jones in his sixth year at the helm. They played home games at Fresno State College Stadium[note 3] on the campus of Fresno City College in Fresno, California. They finished with a record of five wins, three losses and one tie (5–3–1, 1–2–1 FWC). The Bulldogs outscored their opponents 147–107 for the season.

  2. ^ The Northern California Athletic Conference (NCAC) was known as the Far Western Conference (FWC) from its founding in 1925 to 1982.
  3. ^ Ratcliffe Stadium was known as Fresno State College Stadium from 1926 to 1940.
  4. ^ University of California, Santa Barbara was known as Santa Barbara State College from 1921 to 1943.
  5. ^ San Diego State University was known as San Diego State Teachers College from 1924 to 1934.
  6. ^ Navy "Sports" Field was the original name of what became Lane Field in downtown San Diego. It was converted to a baseball-only configuration in 1936.
