1Borneo Hypermall also known as 1Borneo is a shopping centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. It is the largest shopping complex in East Malaysia and has been dubbed as Borneo Island's largest mall.[3][4] 1Borneo Hypermall is situated in an area which is the fastest growing sector in Sabah. It was designed by YTS Architecture Sdn Bhd, an international architectural firm based in Kuala Lumpur. 1Borneo is 7 km away from Kota Kinabalu City and about 13 km away from Kota Kinabalu International Airport.[5][6]

Features[edit]

1 Borneo Hypermall has a bowling alley, cinema, anchor tenants like Giant supermarket, Parkson, F&B outlets and a variety of shops.[3] With a total area of 418,063 m², the whole project consists of four hotels, over 900 units of condominiums and 1.2 million square feet of retail shops.[4]
