An arcade system board is a dedicated computer system created for the purpose of running video arcade games. Arcade system boards consist of a main system board with any number of supporting boards; the earliest non-microprocessor based arcade system boards were designed around codeless state machine computers with the main board and any support boards consisting of discrete logic circuits comprising each element of the game itself. The next generation of arcade system boards, with the inclusion of microprocessor based technology, incorporated the game program code directly on the main system board via game code stored in ROM chips mounted on the main board. Arcade system boards, including the DECO Cassette System, SNK's Neo-Geo, Capcom's CPS-2, Sega's NAOMI, separated the system board from the game program itself, akin to a home video game console and cartridge/CD/DVD/Hard Disk; this method benefitted arcade game owners. Once the system board was purchased, the owner could switch out the games at a fraction of the price and with less effort, the manufacturers could produce fewer of the costly system boards and more of the less-costly games.

Tire maintenance for motor vehicles is based on several factors. The chief reason for tire replacement is friction from moving contact with road surfaces, causing the tread on the outer perimeter of tires to wear away; when the tread depth becomes too shallow, the tire should be replaced. The same wheels can be used throughout the lifetime of the car. Other problems encountered in tire maintenance include: Uneven or accelerated tire wear: can be caused by under-inflation, overloading or poor wheel alignment. Increased tread wear on only one side of a tire: a sign of poor wheel alignment. Tread worn away completely: when the wear on the outer rubber exposes the reinforcing threads within, the tire is said to be bald and must be replaced as soon as possible. Sometimes tires with worn tread are recapped, i.e. a new layer of rubber with grooves is bonded onto the outer perimeter of a worn tire. Since this bonding may come loose, new tires are considered superior to recapped ones. Sometimes a pneumatic tire gets a hole or a leak through which the air inside leaks out resulting in a flat tire, a condition which must be fixed before the car can be driven safely.
Vehicles carry a spare tire mounted on a wheel rim, to be used in the event of a flat tire or blowout. Spare tires for modern cars are smaller than regular tires and should not be used to drive far before replacement with a full-size tire. A few vehicle models use conventional size spare tires. Jacks and wrenches for emergency replacement of a flat tire with a spare are included with a new car. Not included, but available separately, are hand or foot pumps for filling a tire with air by the vehicle owner. Cans of pressurized air can sometimes be bought separately for convenient emergency refill of a tire; some cars and trucks are equipped with run flat tires that may be driven with a puncture over a distance of 80 km to 100 km. This eliminates the need for an immediate tire change or calling for roadside assistance. Tires have more traction when they are bald, because there is more surface area making contact with the road; the reason regular tires have treads is to avoid hydroplaning. Stock cars driven on professionally maintained NASCAR tracks use tires without treads, with a thicker layer of rubber.
Front tires on front wheel drive vehicles, have a tendency to wear out more than rear tires. Routine maintenance including tire rotation is done periodically to facilitate uniform tire wear. There are simple hand-held tire-pressure gauges which can be temporarily attached to the valve stem to check a tire's interior air pressure; this measurement of tire inflation pressure should be made at least once a month. Accurate readings can only be obtained when the tires are'cold' -, at least three hours after the vehicle has been driven or driven less than 1/2 mile since cold - tire pressures will not be higher because of operating heat; the recommended inflation pressure is found on the vehicle's tire placard. Because of slow air leaks, changes in the weather and ambient temperature or other conditions, tire pressure will have to be corrected via the valve stem with compressed air, available at service stations. Under-inflation of tires can cause premature and uneven tire wear, excess fuel usage, carries an increased risk of explosive failure after prolonged high speed operation at high temperatures.
Overall, these factors decrease the life of a tire by up to 20%. Many vehicles have tire pressure monitoring systems, it is important for owners to have an understanding of what is safe and what is not when it comes to their tires. The three major areas to keep an eye on is the tread and air pressure of the tire. Having the correct air pressure in your vehicle's tires lets your vehicle perform in the most efficient way possible; when objects such as a screw or nail puncture a tire, it creates a small leak in the tire. This leads to under-inflation of the tire; when a tire is under-inflated, it causes the inside of the tire to heat up. This heat compromises the internal structure of the tire; when a tire is over-inflated, it wears the tread down faster, becomes more prone to catching nails or screws in the tire. The best way to check tire maintenance is to check the air pressure, because that will lead you to whatever problem your tire might have. There are several factors that may cause quicker tire wear, among them there are heavy braking and fast cornering, constant heavy cargo transportation and rough roads, improper pressure or improper maintenance.
That's why for the older vehicles, that do not come equipped with TPMS sensors, it is recommended to check tire pressure at least once a month. Tire-pressure gauge Tire-pressure monitoring system Tire IQ
The Ulaanbaatar trolleybus system forms part of the public transport network in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. It is Mongolia's only trolleybus system. Opened on 29 October 1987, the system was operated by about 40 ZiU-9 type trolleybuses, imported from the Soviet Union. Since 2007, newer trolleybuses have joined the fleet; the system is made up of the following lines: 2, 4, 5 and 6. The ZiU-9 type trolleybuses continue to be the mainstay of the fleet. In 2007, they were joined by several Hyundai Aero City 540 vehicles, converted from diesel power using electrical equipment removed from some of the ZiU-9s. A small number of additional ZiU trolleybuses, two AKSM trolleybuses, have been added to the fleet. Due to their strength, the trolleybuses have been nicknamed "goat carts" by Ulaanbaatar residents. Géza von Cziffra was a Hungarian and Austrian film director and screenwriter. Cziffra was a Banat German in origin, born in 1900 in Arad in the Banat region, at that date in the Kingdom of Hungary, now in Romania. Cziffra made films from the 1930s onwards, at first in Hungary, from 1936 in Germany as well, where however he was more active as a screenwriter. In 1945 in Prague occupied by the Germans, he made the film Leuchtende Schatten; as adviser for the criminal police he was assigned SS-Sturmbannführer Eweler, a member of the SD and brother of the actress Ruth Eweler. After some time Cziffra banned Eweler from the studios for obstructive criticism. Shortly afterwards he was arrested and taken to the Prague Gestapo Headquarters in the Pecec Palace, where he was accused of having eaten several times in the Czech restaurant "Neumann" without using ration stamps, he was dispatched to Pankrác Prison, the remand and interrogation prison of Prague, sentenced to six months' imprisonment, beginning on 12 February.
He was released from detention on 19 April, shortly before the end of the war. In 1945 in Vienna Cziffra founded the first post-war Austrian film production company: Cziffra-Film. Principally, for preference, he made light entertainment and musical films with well-known German and Austrian actors such as Peter Alexander, Rudolf Platte, Senta Berger and Hubert von Meyerinck. Through the input of musicians like Bill Ramsey or Bully Buhlan the films progressed to being musical revues with a local Austrian slant and flavour. Cziffra worked as an actor himself, in his life published a number of books, he was married to the actress Ursula Justin. He died on 28 April 1989 in Diessen am Ammersee in Bavaria, his remains are interred in the crematorium in Munich.
