2MYX is the debut mini album from the South Korean boy band A-Jax. It was released in November 15,2012 with the song of same name used as the promotional track, the EP includes the singles One 4 U and Hot Game. On November 15, the EP and music video of 2MYX were released at the same time, 2MYX was described as a response to the Girls Generations song Run Devil Run. The EP is composed of seven songs, three new songs, three already-released songs, and an instrumental, 2MYX was written by Cha Yong-un and Yi Sin-seong and composed by John Lundvik, Andreas Oberg and Kalle Engstrom. Catch Me If You Can was written by Koh Minae and composed by Steven Lee, Steven Lee produced the songs Your Song, One 4 U, and Never Let Go and composed Hot Game, which was written by Kim Ji-hyang. An instrumental of 2MYX was included on the EP, promotions for the EP and 2MYX started on November 15, on Mnets show M. Countdown. The group promoted on the music shows Music Bank, Music Core and Show Champion
4th Period Mystery
4th Period Mystery, released internationally as The Clue, is a 2009 South Korean thriller film starring Yoo Seung-ho and Kang So-ra. It was released on August 12,2009 and drew a total of 67,602 admissions, Jung-hoon is the best student at his school. His rival, Tae-gyu, takes any and every opportunity to him down both verbally and physically, and the two are known enemies amongst the other students. One afternoon Tae-gyu pushes Jung-hoon too far and the latter threatens Tae-gyu with a knife, Jung-hoon walks away from the situation, but shortly after the beginning of 4th period class he returns to find Tae-gyu dead. The boy has been stabbed repeatedly, and still in shock, Jung-hoon picks up the bloody knife off a desk just as Da-jung shows up. The pair set out in search of the murderer and soon discover that just about everyone’s a suspect and even more unsettling, the murderer is now after them as well
1st Infantry Division (South Korea)
The 1st Infantry Division is a military formation of the Republic of Korea Armys I Corps. The division was established on 12 May 1945 under the command of Colonel Kim Suk-won, the unit was not initially assigned to a division but was assigned to the 1st Division following that units activation in May 1949. It participated in the Battle of Pusan Perimeter, 15th Infantry Regiment Artillery Regiment The division was the first units of the ROK Army to be attacked by the North Koreans on June 25,1950. At 4 a. m. the North Koreans began a barrage on the divisions positions along the 38th Parallel. The artillery bombardment was followed by ground attacks by the NKPAs 1st. It became part of II Corps after the first fall of Seoul and it subsequently fought in the Battle of Pusan Perimeter. On October 19,1950 Company F of the U. S. 5th Cavalry entered Pyongyang, the next morning, the division reached the heart of the city and took the strongly fortified administrative center without difficulty. The entire city was secured by 10,00 that day, in the western half of North Korea, as part of the U. S.
I Corps’ general advance on October 25,1950, the 1st Division was spread out on the road ran from the Chongchon River to Unsan. The division’s 15th Regiment passed through Yongbyon and continued toward Unsan without opposition, in the lead were elements of Company D, 6th Medium Tank Battalion, which passed through Unsan without incident. Just before 1100, as the tanks approached a bridge one, engaging the enemy force, the soldiers reported a half-hour that at least three hundred Chinese troops were in the hills just north of Unsan. The 12th Regiment, the second unit in the column, turned west when it arrived at Unsan. The CCF’s attacks against the 1st Division continued on the twenty-sixth, during the afternoon of November 1, the CCF’s attack north of Unsan gained strength against the 15th Regiment and gradually extended to the right flank of the U. S. At nightfall the 1st Battalion controlled the approaches to the Samtan River. The battalion’s position on the left was weak, there were not enough soldiers to extend the line to the main ridge leading into Unsan.
This left a gap between the 1st and 2d Battalions, east of the Samtan the 15th Regiment was under heavy attack, and shortly after midnight it no longer existed as a combat force. Lee Jin-tae and Lee Jin-seok, main characters in the 2004 Korean film Taegukgi, were assigned to the fictional 2d Company, 4th Battalion, 8th Regiment, 1st Infantry Division
4Minute was a five-member South Korean girl group formed in 2009 by Cube Entertainment with music singles and albums released primarily in South Korea and Japan. The members of the group were Nam Ji-hyun, Heo Ga-yoon, Jeon Ji-yoon, Kim Hyun-a, the group debuted in June 2009 with its first single, Hot Issue, and in December 2010, it released its first Japanese album, Diamond. In 2011, the group released its first Korean full-length album, the group received the Bonsang Award at the 20th Seoul Music Awards, and the Kpop New Artist Award at the 2010 Billboard Japan Music Awards. In 2016, Cube Entertainment announced the disbandment of 4Minute after unsuccessful contract renewal negotiation with the majority of the members. On May 14, Cube Entertainment announced the formation of a girl group, called 4Minute. Prior to the announcement, the group was unofficially called the Hyuna group. The next member, Nam Ji-hyun, was revealed on May 22, the remaining members were announced the following day. 4Minute released its first single, Hot Issue, on June 15, on June 21, the groups van was raided by fans, who stole clothing and other items.
Cube Entertainment said, It was very unfortunate that such an ordeal occurred, on August 20, the group released its first mini-album called For Muzik along with its second single, Muzik. The song won an Inkigayo Mutizen award, on August 27, South Korean radio and television network KBS banned the playing of Wont Give You for what they considered to be overly sexual lyrical content. The lyrics in question, in the style of a first-person narrative, Cube Entertainment responded to the ban by stating that the song was intended to be about the pure feelings of a girl to a guy and that they were very disappointed by the decision. On October 15, the single What a Girl Wants was released, on December 2, 4Minute, with Korean singers Mario and Amen, released the Christmas song Jingle Jingle. The group recorded a remix with American artist Amerie for her song Heard em All which was part of the Asian version of her fourth album, the song featured Korean rapper Jun Hyung of label mate Beast. On January 5,2010, it was announced that the Universal Music Group would be assisting 4Minute with a launch of its album.
The group toured Taiwan, Philippines and Hong Kong On May 5, the group debuted Muzik as a Japanese single, the single reached number 21 on the Oricon weekly singles chart. On May 19, 4Minute released a mini-album entitled Hit Your Heart, the single featured fellow label mates Beast, who rapped during song Whos Next. HuH peaked at number 3 on the Gaon Singles Chart, on July 19, the song Superstar was digitally released for the Korean TV show Superstar K2. On October 27, the song was released, in December, 4Minute held Japanese concerts 4Minute Energy Live Volume 2, Diamond in Tokyo and Osaka
2AM is a South Korean boy group under JYP Entertainment, consisting of Jo Kwon, Lee Changmin, Lim Seulong and Jeong Jinwoon. It was one of the two subgroups split from the boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. They officially debuted on July 11,2008, on KBSs Music Bank and they won their first Mutizen at Inkigayo on February 7,2010, with Cant Let You Go Even If I Die. Along with the members of 2PM, 2AMs Seulong, Jinwoon appeared on the documentary Hot Blood that was aired on Mnet, Changmin was not in the documentary because he had not joined JYPE. Initially, Jinwoon was eliminated on Hot Blood, but he ended up in 2AM due to Daehuns withdrawal from JYPE, 2AMs first single, 이 노래, was released on July 21,2008. It was followed a year by Time For Confession, on March 19,2009, in January 2010 the band released the EP, 죽어도 못 보내 with 죽어도 못 보내 as the lead track. The EP featured four songs, three from their first and second singles and one new song titled 잘못했어, which was their promoted track. Through June and July 2010, 2AM opened for Wonder Girls on the leg of their Wonder Girls World Tour.
They are featured in Made in Wonder Girls, on October 26,2010, 2AM released their first full-length album entitled Saint oClock, with 전활 받지 않는 너에게 and 미친 듯이 as the lead tracks. Following the Korean success of their 2010 album Saint oClock, the released a Japanese version on November 9,2011. On January 2012, they released their first Japanese single Never Let You Go, Shindemo Hanasanai and it successfully entered both Oricon Daily Chart and Weekly Chart in the top 3. They released their second Korean EP F. Scott Fitzgeralds Way Of Love and released the video for the lead track of the album. In January 2012 they toured Japan, becoming the first K-Pop idol group to perform at Tokyo Bunkamura Orchard Hall, the band followed up with the release of their second Japanese single Denwa ni Denai Kimi ni in Japan on April 11. The song immediately debuted on Oricon Daily charts at fourth place, the release included the Japanese version of You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls and a cover Ken Hirai‘s 瞳をとじて. In April 2012, 2PM and 2AM announced the release of the film known as Beyond The One Day.
One Day refers to the group from which 2PM and 2AM both split, on April 13, they released the trailer for the film. This was followed up with the release of Japanese single for the theme song One day, in September 2012, 2AM released the third Japanese single For You, Kimi no Tame ni Dekiru Koto their first original in Japanese. The title track For You~君のためにできること~ was selected as the song for Japanese TBS drama NEO Soumatou Company which premiered on July 16
2NE1 was a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. First appearing in Lollipop, a campaign with Big Bang for LG Electronics. Since then, the group has released two extended plays, 2NE1 and 2NE1, and two studio albums, To Anyone and Crush. Their first EP spawned the number-one single I Dont Care, which won them the Song of the Year award at the 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards. Their follow-up singles, such as Go Away, Lonely and I Am the Best, were similarly successful, 2NE1 officially debuted in Japan in September 2011 with a Japanese version of their second EP, titled Nolza. Since then, the group has released one album, Collection. In 2012, The New York Times named 2NE1s performance at the Prudential Center in New Jersey as one of the Best Concerts of 2012, in October 2012, Zack Greenburg of Forbes magazine noted that 2NE1 has sold 27 million digital downloads. The youngest member, officially left the group on April 5,2016 and it was revealed that although CL and Dara would remain signed to YG Entertainment, Park Bom did not have her contract renewed.
Their final single Good Bye was released on January 21,2017, 2NE1 was first mentioned by South Korean press in late 2004. Both Spicas Bohyung and Fiestars Linzy were trainees alongside the 2NE1 members, they were eliminated before debut. YG Entertainment formally announced in early 2009 that the group would consist of four members, the company stated that the group had trained for four years, and that their debut album would contain songs produced by 1TYMs leader Teddy Park. The groups name was announced as 21, due to the discovery of a singer with the same name. The name, pronounced in Korean to approximate English as To Anyone or Twenty One, combines the phrases 21st century, in collaboration with Big Bang, 2NE1s first CF song, was digitally released on March 27,2009. The song was created for LG to promote their Cyon phone, the music video was released on March 28. Lollipop was not a single because it was an advertisement. 2NE1s debut song, was released on May 6, the song was written and produced by 1TYMs Teddy Park, and contained elements of hip-hop and reggae.
Its music video had two versions — a space version and a street version, within the first 24 hours of release, the videos each received over one million views. The group held their first performance of Fire on May 17 on SBSs Inkigayo, 2NE1 launched their first reality show, 2NE1TV to assist the group in their debut promotions
2 Days & 1 Night
2 Days &1 Night is a South Korean reality-variety show that airs on KBS2 beginning August 5,2007. 1 Night 2 Days is one of the two segments on Happy Sunday, airing at 6, 25pm KST once a week, the episodes are uploaded with English subtitles weekly on YouTube through KBSs official channel. The shows current cast members are Kim Jong-min, Cha Tae-hyun, Kim Joon-ho, Yoon Shi-yoon, the shows motto is Real Wild Road Variety. Its main concept is to various places of interest that viewers can visit in South Korea. Filming for every new trip is usually done 2 weeks prior to broadcast on KBS2,1 Night 2 Days has gained much popularity and has garnered high viewer ratings. Along with The Return of Superman, the third season helped revive and maintain KBS2 Happy Sunday ratings. Although there were multiple member changes through each season,1 Night 2 Days has mostly kept its format. The cast members take various trips throughout South Korea, including offshore islands. While doing so, members perform missions at a certain mealtime or point of the day to earn rewards, guests can be invited not only by the production team but by the members themselves if they meet the criteria of the episodes concept.
Before 1 Night 2 Days was first aired, it was preceded by Are You Ready which featured most of the 1 Night 2 Days members — Kang Ho-dong, Lee Soo-geun, Kim Jong-min, and Eun Jiwon. Are You Ready was canceled due to low ratings and was replaced by 1 Night 2 Days after 12 episodes. Singer and actor Lee Ji-hoon was offered to join the cast of 1 Night 2 Days but rejected the role to take a role on MBC drama New Heart instead. 1 Night 2 Days premiered with cast members Kang Ho-dong, Lee Soo-geun, Kim Jong-min, Eun Jiwon, Noh Hong-chul, Ji Sang-ryul, and Sanggeun the dog mascot on August 5,2007. Season 2 premiered on March 4,2012 with returning members Lee Soo-geun, Kim Jong-min, and Uhm Tae-woong, who were joined by new members Kim Seung-woo, Cha Tae-hyun, Sung Si-kyung, Kim Seung-woo left the show in March 2013 to re-focus on his acting career. He was replaced by fellow actor Yoo Hae-jin, on November 24,20131 Night 2 Days Season 2 officially wrapped up season two with a final goodbye from the members.

As of November 22,2015, Kim Joo-hyuk left the cast of season 3 on their two-year anniversary, Yoon Shi-yoon was rumored to be in talks to join the show and officially became the new member in April 2016. 2gether (CNBLUE album)
2gether is the second studio album by South Korean pop rock idol band CNBLUE. It was released on September 14,2015, under FNC Entertainment, after ending domestic promotions for Cant Stop, the band concentrated on individual activities, most notably, frontman Jung Yong-hwa released his debut solo album One Fine Day in January. The remaining band members sought out opportunities in television, particularly in acting, variety show appearances, in August 2015, it was announced that CNBLUE would release its second studio album after an absence lasting one year and seven months. After a series of photo and video teasers, the album, 2gether was met with generally favorable reviews, particularly for the bands pursuit of electronic elements. The album went on to top the Gaon Album Chart in its week of its release. The band embarked on the 2015 CNBLUE Live Come Together concert tour, which stops in South Korea, China. After ending domestic promotions for its fifth mini-album Cant Stop, CNBLUE pursued individual activities, frontman Jung Yong-hwa released his debut solo studio album One Fine Day in January and embarked on an Asian tour.
Guitarist Lee Jong-hyun played the role of a character in KBS2s Orange Marmalade. Drummer Kang Min-hyuk took part in MBCs I Live Alone and KBS2s sports variety show Our Neighborhood Arts, bassist Lee Jung-shin was an MC for SBS Pluss Fashion King, Secret Box and Mnets music chart show M Countdown. On August 24,2015, it was announced that the band would release its second album in September. Four days later, it was revealed that the album was titled 2gether and had a set date of September 14, one year. CNBLUE began developing songs for 2gether in midst of writing songs for Cant Stop, while staying at a hotel in Japan during the bands Arena Tour 2013, One More Time, bassist Lee sought out to write a song. Jung assigned him and Kang to do it together, after listening to the melody of Control, after discussing it between themselves and Lee agreed to write a song with the notion that no one can control me. Initially written in Korean, the two faced difficulties in translating the song into English, with the assistance of Jung, the translations and lyrics were completed and Lee were left uncredited.
The song was intended to be included on Cant Stop. Jung cited the space on the release, as well as the different atmosphere the song had in comparison to the other songs for its omission. He decided to add it to the bands Japanese single Go Your Way, the lyrics were rewritten in Korean by the bassist for its inclusion on 2gether, marking the first song to be credited under his name since the debut of the band. Radio was previously recorded in Japanese for CNBLUEs album Wave, which was re-recorded in Korean for inclusion on 2gether, originally titled Heart Song and included in its Japanese single Truth, was rewritten in Korean
