Scorpion is an American action drama television series loosely based on the life of computer expert, Walter OBrien. In the series, OBrien and his friends help each other to solve global problems. The series premiered on September 22,2014 and airs in the United States on CBS, on October 27,2014, CBS placed a full season episode order for the first season. On March 25,2016, CBS renewed Scorpion for a third season, in March 2017, CBS renewed the series for a fourth season. Scorpion is said to be the last line of defense against complex, drawing on a diverse set of skills and experience, the team tackles a variety of problems, many of which are extremely complex. While they are called into service by the Department of Homeland Security, they accept work from private individuals. Elyes Gabel as Walter OBrien A genius with an IQ of 197, Walter was notably arrested for hacking into NASAs mainframe as a child, in the series, it is revealed that he married Happy Quinn to avoid Deportation. Katharine McPhee as Paige Dineen Paige serves as manager for the team.
In turn, the team helps her understand her genius son, eddie Kaye Thomas as Tobias Toby Meriwether Curtis, MD A Harvard-trained doctor with a degree in psychiatry, Toby serves the team as a behaviorist, reading people that the team encounters. His gambling addiction occasionally causes trouble for him and the team, jadyn Wong as Happy Quinn A gifted mechanical engineer, Happy was named for her parents favorite song, R. E. M. s Shiny Happy People. After her mother died in childbirth, her father gave her up for care, her experience makes it difficult for her to interact with. Ari Stidham as Sylvester Dodd Gifted as a mathematician and statistician and he is a highly sensitive person and struggles with OCD and anxiety, and harbors fears of germs, air transportation and open water, among others. Riley B. Smith as Ralph Dineen Son to Paige, he is believed to be a troubled child before meeting and interacting with Walter. He interacts well with the team, and on occasion, assists with cases and she died in the episode Arrivals and Departures after suffering complications due to her disease.
Brendan Hines as Drew Baker, Ralphs biological father who is a minor league baseball player. David Fabrizio as Merrick, Director of Homeland Security, after the events of season 1, Merrick was demoted and reassigned as Homeland Securitys liaison to NASA. He dies in the episode Da Bomb during a fight with Cabe Gallo when Cabe pushed him off the launch platform. Beautiful People is an American drama television series about a family that moves from New Mexico to The Big Apple to make a fresh start on their lives. The series aired on the ABC Family network from August 8,2005, to April 24,2006 and its executive producer was Paul Stupin, who played the same role for Dawsons Creek. Lynne Kerr, Lynne leaves New Mexico after her husband leaves her for her daughter Karens best friend. When she arrives in New York City, she is a retailer at first, until she gets a start in the fashion world. She bumps into college sweetheart Julian Fiske, for whom she still has feelings and her first modeling gig is when she poses for the cover of a Brighton School magazine in a school business competition. She worked wearing a suit, among other odd gigs. Sophie Kerr and intelligent, Sophie is a photographer who wins a scholarship to the prestigious Brighton School. She meets her good friend Gideon Lustig, who ends up falling for Sophie, Sophie finds herself in a romantic dilemma between elitist Nicholas Fiske and artistic Gideon.
Gideon Lustig and adorable Gideon is a vulnerable artist who is put down by his wealthy. Gideon believes that just because he has money doesnt mean he’s better than others who aren’t as fortunate and he develops a crush on Sophie Kerr and is caught in a love triangle with her and long-time best friend Annabelle Banks. Annabelle Banks, An aspiring photographer, Annabelle is in the shadow of Gideon, her long-time crush and her parents are divorced and both her parents left six months after it was finalized, leaving Annabelle with a babysitter. Annabelle explores her sexuality, figuring out she is bisexual, Nicholas Fiske and extravagantly rich, Nicholas is the heir to Fiske Publications and is a BP and captain of the JV lacrosse team at the exclusive Brighton School. He turns his back on then-girlfriend Paisley Bishop to start a relationship with new girl Sophie Kerr, Paisley Bishop, Wealthy and popular, Paisley is a BP and is used to getting whatever she wants, unless it happens to involve longtime on-and-off boyfriend Nicholas Fiske.

Lowry and Bowker served as executive producers alongside Hugh Jackman, John Palermo, Paul Telegdy, and Gabriele Muccino. The latter directed the pilot and it was filmed on location in part at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California for most of the inside casino shots. Produced by BBC Worldwide, CBS Paramount Network Television, Sony Pictures Television, and Seed Productions, excerpts from the series were aired in subsequent previews throughout the CBS telecast of the 61st Annual Tony Awards on June 10,2007. CBS cancelled Viva Laughlin on October 22,2007 after airing two episodes, with the Nine Network following suit the day by canceling the show after airing only one episode. Both CBS and Nine filled the time slot with episodes of CSI. There are still no plans to air the remaining episodes, Viva Laughlin is a mystery drama musical about businessman Ripley Holden, whose ambition is to run a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. It occasionally has the actors break into contemporary song, Ripley has invested all his money into opening a casino that is nowhere near completion, when his financing suddenly falls through.
Needing an investor, Ripley approaches his rival, wealthy casino owner Nicky Fontana, but Fontana wants to own the casino himself, Ripley becomes embroiled in a murder investigation after the body of his ex-business partner is found at his casino. And thats only the first of a dozen problems with CBS admirably ambitious, let us count the ways it bombs. The following broadcasters purchased the series, A few days after the cancellation, the shows host Joel McHale described it as the show that was loved by hundreds.
