Critical reception[edit]

The role Todd Solondz played in Fear, Anxiety & Depression has reminded some critics of film director Woody Allen.[3]

Solondz told a critic, I don’t want to see that movie again. It was a painful demoralizing experience, so I prefer not to dwell on that.[6]
