Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) This image will replace the artwork image for the 2013 festival with artwork for the more recent 2014 festival.
Not replaceable with
free media because
This is how the film festival in question chose to represent its last event. All images promoting Directors Lounge events originate from their various portals.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) The image is intended as a single image showing promotion of the 10th Berlin International Directors Lounge. It is unrelated to the subject of the other image in Wikipedia entry, being of a central, recurring event and not a sample of a one-time international event.
Respect for
commercial opportunities
The image represents a past event and could not be used for any coming event. I have further contacted the creators of the image, who are in agreement with its use.
