Hanna Bohman is a Canadian former model who decided to travel to Syria to become a fighter with the Kurdish YPJ militia. She decided to join the Kurdish forces in Syria after watching an ISIS propaganda video featuring Canadian John Maguire who had gone to fight for the militant group and appeared in propaganda videos to incite Canadians to launch attacks in their own country. Bohman told Vice that she wanted to do something useful with her life after surviving a near fatal motorcycle accident, she told them that "I had wasted so much of my life trying to make a living, that I hadn't started to live. Fighting the Satanic State and being part of the revolution in Rojava is a dream come true. Not that I dreamed of killing people, but that I am now useful."A former model with A. B. C, she told the channel CTV Vancouver. I was bored. I didn't feel like I had done anything that I felt was important", she was smuggled into the country and decided to join the YPJ because she felt they were fighting for women's rights in the region.
Bohman's nom de guerre is Tiger Sun. She worked as a "spotter" for a defensive unit of the YPJ in 2015 before returning to Canada after suffering from malnutrition. Bohman took part in the battle of Tel Abyad, Tel Tamir and Suluk in 2015, she returned to Syria in 2017, telling the BBC that her intention was to help fight for women's rights in the Middle East
Sheikh Abdul-Haq Muhaddith Dehlawi or Al-Muhaddith Shaykh Abdul-Haqq Dehlavi was an Islamic scholar. He was born in 1551 in Delhi, hence the suffix Dehlavi to his name, he went on become a noted writer in Arabic and Persian, who won favour from both Mughal Emperors and Shah Jahan, in time became a respected scholar on Islam. His ancestors were natives of Bokhara, while visiting Delhi was ennobled and attached to the Mughal Royal Court at Delhi, his father too made a name for himself in the courts. In 996 AH, 1587 CE, he made the pilgrimage to Mecca, where he stayed remained for the next two years studying the Prophetic traditions and Sufism under various noted scholars. Upon his return to Delhi, he taught for half a century, authored more than 100 works, noted among them a history of Medina, a biography of Muhammad, a work on the lives of saints, he died in Delhi, in 1642, has over 40 works to his name.
