This list focuses on Cuban-born actors and actresses.

Andy García was the first Cuban-born actor to be nominated an Oscar, receiving a Best Supporting Actor nomination for The Godfather Part III (1990).
Mercedes Ruehl was the first Cuban American to win an acting Oscar, winning Best Supporting Actress for The Fisher King (1991).
