This is a list of countries by smartphone penetration.

Newzoo's Global Mobile Market Report[edit]

Newzoo's 2017 Global Mobile Market Report shows the percentage of the population owning a smartphone. These numbers come from Newzoo's Global Mobile Market Report, April 2017, and are based on a model which takes into account a country’s economic progression, demography, online population, and inequality.[1]
