Kisean Anderson, known professionally as Sean Kingston, is a Jamaican-American singer, songwriter and record producer whose first album, Sean Kingston, was released in 2007. Kisean Anderson was born on February 3,1990, in Miami and moved to Kingston, Jamaica and he attended high school in Ocho Rios. His grandfather was the noted Jamaican reggae producer Lawrence Lindo, who worked under the stage name Jack Ruby, Kingston was discovered on Myspace by Tommy Rotem at Beluga Heights, and signed to the label in a partnership deal with Sony. At Beluga we essentially refine the talent so that its more of a marketable product, in a venture between Epic Records and Koch Records, Kingston recorded and released the single Beautiful Girls in May 2007. The song peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, Beautiful Girls was a success internationally, topping the charts in Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. In the latter country, the song spent four weeks at the summit of the UK Singles Chart, in 2007, Kingston was the opening act for Gwen Stefanis The Sweet Escape Tour and for select dates on Beyoncés The Beyoncé Experience Tour.
In 2008, he was one of the acts for the Australian leg of Kelly Clarksons My December Tour. Since Sean is a Jamaican singer, he got his name from the capital of Jamaica called Kingston. The album Tomorrow was released on September 22,2009, producers involved in the album included former Fugee Wyclef Jean, RedOne, plus Seans original mentor, J. R. Rotem. Fire Burning, and Face Drop were released as singles, five promotional digital singles were released leading up to the album. Kingston co-wrote Jason Derulos Whatcha Say and he found the R&B-reggae singer Iyaz on MySpace and signed him to his record label. He recorded the track Miss Everything for the UK girl-group Sugababes studio album Sweet 7 which was released March 15,2010, Kingston and DJ Khaled are being featured on Bow Wows new single For My Hood, from the movie, The Lottery Ticket. The album features T-Pain, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Flo Rida, Soulja Boy, Wyclef Jean, Cher Lloyd, Akon and Dr. Dre. The first single from the album is Eenie Meenie featuring Justin Bieber, released on March 23,2010 and this collaboration with the young star has been the source of much disapproval from the rap community.
The second single from the album is Letting Go, which features a verse from Nicki Minaj and it was released on iTunes August 3, while the third is Dumb Love and was released on iTunes September 8. Sean Kingstons new song She Moves samples Irena Caras What a Feeling from the film Flashdance and this has not been release as a single. A fourth single Party All Night was released on December 21,2010, Kingston represented the continents of North and South America to sing the Official Theme Song of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games, Everyone. Stronger is a song by American rapper Kanye West, released as the second single from his third studio album, Graduation. The production was handled by West, with an extended outro co-produced with Mike Dean, the composition is electronic in nature, employing synthesizers as its prominent instrument. For the track, West utilizes a vocal sample of Harder, Faster, Stronger by French house duo Daft Punk. West describes Stronger as an emancipation, using the track to vent his frustration over mistakes he made in the past year, the songs production process was arduous, with West and his team mixing the track reportedly over 75 times, including after its release as a single. West met Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo at Lollapalooza, the recording sessions for Stronger was a turning point in the production process for Wests third studio album Graduation, whereas prior West had been aimlessly making songs.
The sci-fi imagery of the video inspired West to take his music in a more futuristic direction, on July 3,2007, Kanye West told Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 that although he believes Stronger is a great song, it does not compare to the sampled original. Beautiful Girls is the debut single by reggae-influenced musician Sean Kingston from his eponymous debut, it was first released in 2007. Kings classic Stand by Me and uses digital pitch correction technology on the vocals, the song is about a boy who is suicidal over the failure of his relationship with a beautiful girl. Rapper Lil Mama and actors Kenny Vibert and Lil JJ are featured in the video directed by Marcus Raboy. Certain radio stations, play the version of the song. On MTV the word suicidal is completely removed with no replacement, on BET, Fuse and MuchMusic, as well as several top 40, urban and rhythmic top 40 and AC stations, suicidal was left intact. It was allegedly pulled from two FM although a spokesperson said the song is not on its playlist but could not confirm if it had been in the past. FM104 replaced suicidal with in denial, a change Sean Kingston made for the radio station, on July 24, Beautiful Girls was accidentally leaked onto the U. S. iTunes Store, two days before the planned release date.
The week after the digital release it hit number one on Billboards Hot Digital Songs. Kingston became the first artist born within the 1990s to top the Hot 100 and it has gone on to occupy the top spot on the U. S. Hot 100 Airplay and the Canadian Hot 100 and it remained on top of the UK Singles Chart for four weeks before being knocked off by the Sugababes first single from their 5th studio album Change, About You Now. The song ended 2007 as the years 15th biggest-selling single in the UK, on the official ARIA charts in Australia it debuted at #1, fell to #2 when Delta Goodrems comeback single took the top spot. Beautiful Girls returned the week and remained for a month before being replaced by Timbalands The Way I Are. After an online vote user Mallory Robbins won with an a cappella version of the song, Top honors went to a rock cover of the song performed by the Ailan Christopher Project. Shortly afterward, recording artist JoJo released a cover version of the track which was released on MySpace.
Chris Moyles released a cover, however it was about the song describing how bad it was in his opinion. The Lead Singer of Sublime, sang the Acoustic version of Beautiful Girls on RAWsession on October 20,2008, the Plain White Ts, whose song was knocked out of the charts by this one, did a cover version for Yahoo Music. Lead vocalist Tom Higgenson says that the group started covering it as a joke almost and we started learning it because we were number one for a few weeks and we got knocked out of the number one spot by Sean Kingston, by this song. Apologize is the debut single written by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder for OneRepublics debut album Dreaming Out Loud. It was released as the single of that album. A remix version was included on the Timbaland album, Shock Value, the song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, staying in the top-10 for 25 weeks, and spent 13 weeks at number one in Canada. It spent 25 consecutive weeks in the top 10, the longest stay there for any song since Smooth by Santana and it was ranked number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade. It was OneRepublics biggest hit single in the United States until Counting Stars was released in 2013, Timbaland remixed the song for his second studio album, Shock Value. This version, produced by Greg Wells, included a line of percussion, new backing vocals. The guitar solo after the verse was omitted, completing its transformation to a more R&B style to fit with Shock Value. When the remix debuted, on the back of the strong Timbaland name, as the song gained popularity it was changed to Timbaland Presents OneRepublic An official video associated with the remix was filmed on September 19,2007 and released in early October.
The video premiered on VH1s Top 20 Countdown on October 27,2007, the video was directed by Robert Hales and was shot in a recording studio showing OneRepublic performing the song. The video includes scenes from a New Years Eve countdown party, in a third version of the video, directed by Robert Hales and associated with the remix, Timbaland is shown remixing the song himself. A European version of the video clips of the film Keinohrhasen. A Japanese version of the video was made available for a short time. It features the footage as the original but has more scenes from different angles of the camera. It features footage of people falling and floating in the air in slow motion, a fan made video by Aaron Platt is popular. It has more than 100 million views as of March 2016 and it spent 11 weeks at number three and 25 weeks inside the top 10 and peaked at number three for 10 weeks on the Hot 100 Airplay. It topped the Billboard Pop 100 and became the single from Shock Value to have topped the chart.

The video consists of a series of images from a console of secret cameras installed in an apartment block.

A man in his cubicle surfing the Internet on his Apple laptop computer, a band performing the song in a room. There are directed at hallways and stairs inside the apartment block. After about a minute, these show a SWAT team armed with submachine guns assembling outside. They enter in formation, and eventually break down a door, the noise disturbs all the residents, who momentarily stop what they are doing and move off to investigate, return to their activities. At this point, a number of cameras have been turned off, the band is no longer in their room. It has been torn asunder and a smear of blood is visible on the floor. The final shot shows a bleeding corpse being dragged around a corner, the time code in the monitor sometimes changes the last digit for a letter

The song was released as the first single from the album on 2 April 2007, the single was released in physical formats on 16 April, the week before the release of the album, and charted at #2 in the UK Singles Chart behind Beyoncé and Shakiras Beautiful Liar. The song was noticeably louder and heavier than previous efforts, marking the bands evolved sound, the song prominently features thundering drums and surf-rock tremolo guitars. The song is well known for its intricate and rapid drum track. This song was No.62 on MTV Asias list of Top 100 Hits of 2007, the track is featured in the rhythm video game Guitar Hero 5, and it is considered to be one of the hardest tracks on drums due to its sporadic tom-tom beats. Prior to the single, there had been a deal of media speculation questioning the bands ability to emulate their successes of 2006. The single marks a change in bands logo and cover art.
The track has no chorus, but features a guitar duel which sounds like a cross between Telstar and the Monkeys own When the Sun Goes Down. A feature of Arctic Monkeys songs in the past, Alex Turners Sheffield-accent is again a feature, singing over rough, relentless bass, when asked to say a little about the songs protagonist, Alex Turner replied, I cant remember Brian now. I dont know if he were in my imagination or what and its a blank spot in my brain. I think thats what he wanted, so we did a brainstorm for what he was like, drew a little picture and wrote things about him, while guitarist Jamie Cook added He was right smooth, very LA. He just appeared with like a card and like a round neck T-shirt. It felt like he was trying to get inside your mind and we were checking out his attire, it inspired us. The video premiered on MTV2 on 17 March 2007, all music composed by Arctic Monkeys. It reached number one on the UK indie chart, the three other tracks from this single charted in the UK single chart on 28 April 2007.
