The Manual for Courts-Martial is the official guide to the conduct of courts-martial in the United States military. An Executive Order of the President of the United States, the MCM details and expands on the military law established in the statute Uniform Code of Military Justice; the MCM contains five parts plus 22 appendices: Part I is the Preamble, which gives background and jurisdictional information Part II explains the Rules for Courts-martial Part III lays out the Military Rules of Evidence Part IV sets forth the elements and punishments of offenses Part V provides guidelines for the imposition of non-judicial punishment Appendices provide the Constitution of the United States, the UCMJ itself, analysis of the Parts, historical Executive Orders, etc. In June 2019, the Federal Register published the 2019 Manual for Courts-Martial with all recent changes. Information engineering is the engineering discipline that deals with the generation, distribution and use of information and knowledge in systems. The field first became identifiable in the early 21st century; the components of information engineering include more theoretical fields such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, control theory, signal processing, information theory, more applied fields such as computer vision, natural language processing, medical image computing, autonomous robotics, mobile robotics, telecommunications. Many of these originate from computer science, as well as other branches of engineering such as computer engineering, electrical engineering, bioengineering; the field of information engineering is based on mathematics probability, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, variational calculus, complex analysis. Information engineers hold a degree in information engineering or a related area, are part of a professional body such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology or Institute of Measurement and Control.
They are employed in all industries due to the widespread use of information engineering. The term information engineering used to refer to a software engineering methodology, now more known as information technology engineering or information engineering methodology, it began to gain its current meaning early on in the 21st century. Machine learning is the field that involves the use of statistical and probabilistic methods to let computers "learn" from data without being explicitly programmed. Data science involves the application of machine learning to extract knowledge from data. Subfields of machine learning include deep learning, supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, semi-supervised learning, active learning. Causal inference is another related component of information engineering. Control theory refers to the control of dynamical systems, with the aim being to avoid delays, overshoots, or instability. Information engineers tend to focus more on control theory rather than the physical design of control systems and circuits.
Subfields of control theory include classical control, optimal control, nonlinear control. Signal processing refers to the generation and use of signals, which could take many forms such as image, electrical, or biological. Information theory studies the analysis and storage of information. Major subfields of information theory include data compression. Computer vision is the field that deals with getting computers to understand image and video data at a high level. Natural language processing deals with getting computers to understand human languages at a high level; this means text, but often includes speech processing and recognition. Bioinformatics is the field that deals with the analysis and use of biological data; this means topics such as genomics and proteomics, sometimes includes medical image computing. Cheminformatics is the field that deals with the analysis and use of chemical data. Robotics in information engineering focuses on the algorithms and computer programs used to control robots.
As such, information engineering tends to focus more on mobile, or probabilistic robots. Major subfields studied by information engineers include control, perception, SLAM, motion planning. In the past some areas in information engineering such as signal processing used analog electronics, but nowadays most information engineering is done with digital computers. Many tasks in information engineering can be parallelized, so nowadays information engineering is carried out using CPUs, GPUs, AI accelerators. There has been interest in using quantum computers for some subfields of information engineering such as machine learning and robotics. Devon Abbott Mihesuah is an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation, an historian and writer, a previous editor of the American Indian Quarterly. She is the Cora Lee Beers Price Professor in the Humanities Program at the University of Kansas, she is the second Native woman to receive a named/distinguished professorship. Her lineage is well-documented in multiple tribal records, her great, great grandfather signed the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek. His son, Charles Wilson, served as sheriff and treasurer of Sugar Loaf County in Mushulatubbee District of the Choctaw Nation, his murder in 1884 is documented in Roads of my Relations. Her great grandfather, Thomas Abbott, created the blueprints for the town of McAlester and his son, served as Chief of Police, they are chronicled in "'Gentleman' Tom Abbott: Middleweight Champion of the Southwest," Chronicles of Oklahoma 68: 426–437. Mihesuah has written award-winning books and articles about colonization, boarding schools, research methodologies, Indigenous women, AIM, racism, violence against Natives, "fake news," slander and libel against Natives, in addition to a series of award-winning novels.

Tuffite is a tuff containing both pyroclastic and detrital materials, but predominantly pyroclasts. According to IUGS definition tuffite contains 75% to 25% volcanic material. There are several classifications; the classification present in the IUGS recommendation are based on the definition established by Schmid. Shvetsov defined tuffites as rocks containing 50-90% of the volcanic fragments. Tuffite should therefore contain more than half of volcanic material. If rock contains more than 75% to 90% of pyroclastic material it is referred to as tuff; some other older sources state that tuffite may contain 10-50% volcanic material. The adjective tuffitic is used for sediments containing less than 25% volcanic fragments. A tuffite consists of angular and/or rounded fragments of effusive rocks and their minerals may contain volcanic ash and clay minerals. Nonvolcanic material may consist of chemical precipitates or organogenic components. Quartz or mica and an admixture of carbonates, siliceous rock fragments or organic remains may be common
Julio "Julian" Acosta was a minor league baseball player who won 96 games as a pitcher, collected at least 749 hits as a batter and spent time at first base and in the outfield. He spent several years pitching in Cuba and was a manager for a couple of seasons, he began his career as a pitcher, moving to the field on. In his first professional season, 1940, he went 13-10 with a 4.12 ERA in 38 games for the Goldsboro Goldbugs and Mayodan Millers. With the Goldbugs the next year, he went 17-17 with a 3.10 ERA in 40 games, leading the teams in wins, appearances, innings pitched, hits allowed and earned runs. No other pitcher won more than 12 games. After a mediocre 1942, Acosta had his best season as a pitcher in 1943, going a combined 20-9 with a 2.33 ERA in 39 games for the Richmond Colts and Milwaukee Brewers. In 270 innings of work, he allowed only 207 hits. Despite splitting the season between two teams, he managed to lead the Brewers in wins, he spent the next two years with the Brewers, going 13-10 with a 3.89 ERA and 15-10 with a 3.44 ERA.
Following his time with Milwaukee, he pitched three more average seasons. For most of his career, he was not a high-average or power hitter, however in 1950, he hit a combined.328 with 63 doubles, five triples and 12 home runs for the Ballinger Cats and Del Rio Cowboys. Despite spending only 96 games with Ballinger, he led the team in doubles with 41, out-pacing the next closest batter by 17, he had never hit more than 27 doubles in a season. In 1952, he hit.316 with the Decatur Commodores, leading the team. Overall, in nine minor league seasons as a pitcher, he went 96-76 in 259 games. In 13 years as a batter, he had at least 2,782 at-bats and 749 hits, at least 175 of which were doubles, over 867 games, he managed the Leesburg Dodgers for part of the 1949 season, replacing Jack Harrison and being replaced by Lou Haneles. They works in countries such as Sierra Leone, West Africa, Israel and inner city Oklahoma City. No Boundaries International was incorporated in 2006 by Sandy Orchard. Basey graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and from the unaccredited Christian Life School of Theology with a Doctorate in Ministry, began practice as a licensed therapist in Oklahoma in 1991, with specialties in acute psychiatric care, including trauma counseling. Orchard graduated from Point Loma College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Basey and Orchard met in 2002; the group's main goals are to free people from dependence on outside help and encourage self-sufficiency. Core principles include the conviction; the group emphasizes inner healing, medical help, evangelism. NBI has programs both abroad and in the US.
Their international locations include Sierra Leone, Haiti and Mexico. Local projects take place in Oklahoma. In Sierra Leone, "Project Youth in Crisis" provides food, homes, medical care, therapeutic services and Christian evangelism. In 2008, Oklahoma Christian School raised $75,000 towards the Project Youth in Crisis for their H. E. R. O. E. S. Week.. "The Forgotten" is a program focused on the at-risk children and youth of the world, provides basic necessities, medical care, activities. "Project Hope" focusses on the homeless, the oppressed and the disadvantaged elderly in the Oklahoma City inner city, providing Bible studies, life skills training, targeted outreaches, after school/summer children and youth programs, prevention and wellness training. In Acuna, Mexico, NBI partners with The World Outreach Center based in Del Rio, Texas to provide villages of cardboard dwellings with holiday shoeboxes full of daily needs, as well as offering evangelism and prayer.
