Mobile operating system

A mobile operating system is an operating system for mobile phones, smartwatches, 2-in-1 PCs or other mobile devices. While computers such as typical laptops are'mobile', the operating systems used on them are not considered mobile ones, as they were designed for desktop computers that did not have or need specific mobile features; this distinction is becoming blurred in some newer operating systems that are hybrids made for both uses. Mobile operating systems combine features of a personal computer operating system with other features useful for mobile or handheld use,and including a wireless inbuilt modem and SIM tray for telephony and data connection. By Q1 2018, over 383 million smartphones were sold with 86.2 percent running Android and 12.9 percent running iOS. Android alone is more popular than the popular desktop operating system Windows, in general smartphone use outnumbers desktop use. Mobile devices with mobile communications abilities contain two mobile operating systems – the main user-facing software platform is supplemented by a second low-level proprietary real-time operating system which operates the radio and other hardware.

Research has shown that these low-level systems may contain a range of security vulnerabilities permitting malicious base stations to gain high levels of control over the mobile device. Mobile operating systems have majority use since 2017, thus traditional desktop OS is now a minority used kind of OS. However, variations occur in popularity by regions, while desktop-minority applies on some days in regions such as United States and United Kingdom. Mobile operating system milestones mirror the development of mobile phones, PDAs, smartphones: 1973–1993 — Mobile phones use embedded systems to control operation. 1993 April — PenPoint OS by GO Corporation becomes available on the AT&T EO Personal Communicator. September — Qualcomm's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless platform on their REX real-time operating system is first released on the Kyocera QCP-3035. 2002 March BlackBerry releases its first smartphone. UIQ is first released, at v2.0, on Symbian OS, becomes available in the year on the Sony Ericsson P800, the successor to the Ericsson R380. June Microsoft's first Windows CE smartphones are introduced. Nokia's Symbian Series 60 platform is released with the Nokia 7650, Nokia's first phone with a camera and Multimedia Messaging Service. S60 would form the basis of the OS on most of Nokia's smartphones until 2011, when they adopted Microsoft's Windows Phone 7. Belle Starr's Daughter is a 1948 American Western film directed by Lesley Selander and written by W. R. Reftinskaya GRES

Reftinskaya GRES is the largest solid fuel thermal power plant in Russia. It is situated in 18 km from Asbest. Reftinskiy town, home to 18,000 people, is situated 2.5 km from the GRES, which produces 20,000 million KWh annually. It has heat power -- 350 GKh. Coal from Ekibastuz's coal field is used as the main fuel and the black oil is used as the starting fuel. GRES produces power with the bar «Outdoor switchgear -500 kV» on five power lines -500 kV and with the bar «Outdoor switchgear -220 kV» on five power lines -220 kV; the station supplies power to the industrial areas in Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions. The construction of the electric power station was started in 1963, the launching of the first power unit took place in 1970 and in 1980 – of the last one; the building of the electric power plant was started in 1963 and it was realized in 2 lines: first, 6 power units with installed capacity of 300 MW with the direct-flow two-furnace boilers with rating 950 ton/hour were launched and secondly - 4 power units with installed capacity of 500 MW with the direct-flow two-furnace boilers with rating 1650 ton/hour.

Reftinskaya GRES uses coal supplied from Ekibastuz that has calorific power of 3800-4100 cal/kg, ash content for moisture-free fuel o 40-43 % and humidity of 6-9 %. Unit No. 1 was taken for the exploitation on 28 December 1970 by the state commission under the chairman of V. Trachyk; the counting of the electro station's vital activity started from this moment. The last power unit was launched on 21 December 1980, and on 22 December 1980 in the occasion of the GRES building termination and achievement of the final planned production capacity of 3800 MW, the mass meeting took place, where the first secretary of the Sverdlovsk regional committee C. P. S. U. B. Yeltsin congratulated power men and presented governmental rewards more than 200 constructors, operatives; the rank of the Hero of Socialist Labour was appropriated to the Chef of the Reftinskaya GRES Building Government I. Acolyte is the debut studio album by the English alternative dance band Delphic, released by Polydor Records on 11 January 2010. It was recorded in Ewan Pearson's Berlin studio; the album was released in Australia and New Zealand on 22 January via Modular and in the United States on 29 June 2010 by Dangerbird Records. The band released the tracks Counterpoint and This Momentary on 13 April 2009 and 31 August 2009 prior to the completion of the album; this Momentary became available as a free Digital Download on iTunes to help promote the album. The first single to be released from the album was Doubt and was released on 4 January 2010, a week prior to the release of the album; the single entered the UK Singles Chart at the most successful song from the band yet. The third single to be released from the album was Counterpoint and acted as a re-release of the single, it was released on 31 May 2010, although it was the Tim Goldsworthy Remix that received the radio airplay. Lampara net

A lampara net is a type of fishing net. It is a surrounding net having the shape of a spoon or a dustpan with a short leadline under a longer floatline; the net has a central bunt to contain two lateral wings. Lampara nets are used for capturing those swimming near the water's surface, they are used in the Mediterranean, the United States, South Africa to catch sardines.
