Mozambique Channel

The Mozambique Channel is an arm of the Indian Ocean located between the Southeast African countries of Madagascar and Mozambique. The channel is about 1,600 km long and 419 km across at its narrowest point, reaches a depth of 3,292 m about 230 km off the coast of Mozambique. A warm current, the Mozambique Current, flows in a southward direction in the channel, leading into the Agulhas Current off the east coast of South Africa; the International Hydrographic Organization defines the limits of the Mozambique Channel as follows: On the North. A line from the estuary of the River Rovuma to Ras Habu, the Northern point of Ile Grande Comore, the Northern of the Comore Islands, to Cap d'Ambre the Northern extremity of Madagascar. On the East; the West coast of Madagascar. On the South. A line from Cap Sainte-Marie, the Southern extreme of Madagascar to Ponto do Ouro on the mainland. On the West; the mainland of South Africa. Despite being defined as the South African coast by the IHO, the western limit of the channel is more defined as the coast of Southern Africa or, more of Mozambique.

Kingsway Park High School

Kingsway Park High School is an 11–16 mixed Foundation School that opened in September 2010. The school is located in the Kingsway area of the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom; the school has 1011 students on roll, with at least 14 countries represented across this number. The school was established as a result of an amalgamation of Balderstone Technology College and Springhill High School under the Building Schools for the Future program; the schools trust, Kingsway Learning Trust Limited was established in May 2010 by partner school Middleton Technology School along with Rochdale Sixth Form College and the Rochdale local authority. In the most recent Ofsted Inspection, Kingsway Park High School was awarded Good in all criteria with Inspectors noting continued improvements in Exam Results along with attendance and other key performance criteria. Under the Building Schools for the Future program and opening in September 2013, the school receive a new £13 million building built on the former Springhill High School site on Turf Hill Road

Amnesia (Carey novel)

Amnesia is a 2014 novel by Australian author Peter Carey. The novel follows the story of journalist Felix Moore, writing an investigative piece about Gaby Baillieux, a young Australian computer hacker. Baillieux has written a computer virus, intended to open the doors of Australian prison cells, but which finds its way to the US; the novel makes connections between various incidents in Australia's past to build a picture of conspiracy and political interference.
