Pierce County is a county in the U.S. state of Nebraska. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 7,317. Its county seat is Pierce. The county was formed in 1859, and was named for US President Franklin Pierce.

Vehicle registration plates of Nebraska
The U.S. state of Nebraska first required its residents to register their motor vehicles in 1905. Registrants provided their own license plates for display until 1915, when the state began to issue plates.
