Semi-protected edit request on 25 February 2017[edit]

Can someone please remove Jim Henson and Steve Whitmire from the voice actors section in the Infobox, the edit is vandalism and they are already listed in the Infobox already. But leave Frank Welker, because the voice actors sections is for voice actors only. 174.192.30.46 (talk) 14:57, 25 February 2017 (UTC) 174.192.30.46 (talk) 14:57, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

Is this a continuation of this very cordial argument? [1] Please explain why "vandalism." Acroterion (talk) 15:07, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

Not an argument, it just needs to be removed. 174.192.28.151 (talk), —Preceding undated comment added 15:48, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

It "IS" too vandalism, the Infobox is a complete mess the way it currently looks right now, It's bad. So please remove it. 97.34.195.114 (talk) 15:55, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

Is too is not a reason, nor is your assertion of vandalism. Until you actually produce a reason Henson and Whitmire don't belong (or others do) it won't be done. Please show us why "the voice actors sections is for voice actors only," that is not self-evident. If performed by and voiced by are the same, then the voice actors section shouldn't appear at all. However, that doesn't justify the abuse you've been dishing out. Vandalism involves words like "poop." Acroterion (talk) 16:49, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

Screw it!, just... screw it! 2600:1000:B02B:5E88:1981:217D:D101:2C65 (talk) 17:58, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

Forget it, I'm not even going to listening too you. I'll already explained it already and you say the opposite stuff after what I say. But doesn't matter, once it gets unprotected again it gonna go! I'll remove it as many times I want!, because they don't need to be listed in there twice in a row. Wish I can kock some sense into your brain! 2600:1000:B019:C7CE:6D51:B283:6055:F643 (talk),

Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit protected}} template. It'll just be reprotected, your edits undone, and life will go on with you still accomplishing nothing that way. DMacks (talk) 21:26, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

The page says: Steve Whitmire performed Kermit from that time up until his dismissal from the role in 2016.

Whitmire was actually dismissed in July of 2017 Desertdisciple (talk) 19:27, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Morphdogwhat did I do now? 20:03, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
To give you a better answer to what Morphdog put, you're wrong. Whitmire was dismissed in October 2016; it was only announced in July 2017. See Source. Notice how it states that "[Whitmire] was told by Muppets Studio executives in October 2016 that the role of Kermit would be recast". SkyWarrior 22:00, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

The voiced by column still has Steve Whitmore as a present voice. 173.54.199.149 (talk) 23:30, 6 October 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for bringing it up. The mistake has been fixed.Tapper930 (talk) 00:00, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
