The Johnstown Flood is a 1989 American short documentary film directed by Charles Guggenheim about the Johnstown Flood. It won the Oscar at the 62nd Academy Awards for Documentary Short Subject.[1]


Release history[edit]

There are two versions of this video. A 30-minute video is available at the flood museum. The PBS 60-minute version uses more extensive pictures of the lake that were discovered after the original video had been released.[citation needed]
