The Last Black Man in San Francisco is an upcoming American drama film, directed by Joe Talbot, from a screenplay by Talbot and Rob Richert. It stars Jimmie Fails, Jonathan Majors, Danny Glover, Tichina Arnold, Rob Morgan, Mike Epps, Finn Wittrock and Thora Birch.

Production[edit]

In April 2015, it was announced Jimmie Fails had been cast in the film, with Joe Talbot directing from a screenplay he wrote.[1] In May 2018, it was announced Jonathan Majors, Danny Glover, Tichina Arnold, Rob Morgan, Mike Epps, Finn Wittrock and Thora Birch had joined the cast of the film, with Khaliah Neal producing the film. Plan B Entertainment will produce the film, while A24 will distribute the film.[2][3]

Filming[edit]

Principal photography began in April 2018.[4]
