Town 102 is a radio station serving Ipswich, previously owned by Tindle Radio and the Anglian Radio Group now owned by Celador.

The station's slogan is "Just Great Songs for Ipswich", the playout is identical to sister stations Dream 100, North Norfolk Radio, Radio Norwich 99.9 and The Beach with the exception of Jingles, Adverts and local news and travel. All 5 radio stations are output from a single system at Radio Norwich 99.9's headquarters.

Its last set of RAJAR results, published in February 2018, were the lowest ever, with a reach of just 36,000 weekly listeners (down from a peak of 68,000 in Q4, 2014).

On 12 June 2018 Town 102's licence was not renewed when, for the first time since its inception, Ofcom, did not award a re-advertised licence to the incumbent licensee.[2] Consequently, Ipswich 102 will replace Town 102 on 18th October 2018.[3]

Programming[edit]

Programmes between 0600 and 1900 Monday to Friday and between 0800 and 1200 on Saturday and Sunday are produced in Norwich. Some programmes outside these times are shared with The Breeze network of radio stations.
