Town 102 is a radio station serving Ipswich, previously owned by Tindle Radio and the Anglian Radio Group now owned by Celador.

The station's slogan is "Just Great Songs for Ipswich", although the playlist is identical to sister stations Dream 100, North Norfolk Radio, Radio Norwich 99.9 and The Beach (radio station). It features competitions and also provides local news and information for the Ipswich area.

Its last set of RAJAR results, published in February 2018, were the lowest ever, with a reach of just 36,000 weekly listeners (down from a peak of 68,000 in Q4,2014).

Town 102 are currently fighting to renew their Ofcom licence, with a rival bid having been submitted by Ipswich FM. Ipswich FM submitted its proposals on 17 January 2018 to Ofcom, its plans include local studios in Ipswich, local programming from Ipswich and Ipswich based presenters and radio journalists. It has the backing of local Ipswich MP Sandy Martin.


Programmes between 0600 and 1900 Monday to Friday and between 0800 and 1200 on Saturday and Sunday are produced in the Town 102 studios near Ipswich. Programmes outside these times are shared with all Anglian Radio stations, from 27 February 2017, all programming is shared with Dream 100.
