Tachita Station
Tachita Station is a railway station in Hirakawa, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kōnan Railway Company. Tachita Station is served by the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line, lies 5.2 kilometers from the northern terminus of the line at Hirosaki, Tachita Station has a one island platform. The station building is connected to the platform by a level iis unattended. Tachita Station was opened on September 7, 1927, it became a kan'i itaku station in October 1974. Freight operations were discontinued in 1984. On August 28, 1987, an accident occurred at Tachita station when a conductor started his train without waiting for the signal to turn, thus resulting in a head-on collision with an incoming train; the station has been unattended since April 2006. Kuroishi Station (Aomori)
Kuroishi Station is a railway station on the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line in the city of Kuroishi, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Konan Railway. Kuroishi Station is a terminal station on Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line, is located 16.8 km from the starting point of the line at Hirosaki. The station has a single bay platform serving two tracks, although Track 2 is used; the station is attended. Kuroishi Station was opened on August 15, 1912 on the Japanese Government Railways Kuroishi Light Railway Line. An adjacent Kōnan Kuroishi Station was built in 1950 for use by the Kōnan Line. On November 1, 1984, the Kuroishi Light Railway was sold to the Kōnan Railway Company, the original Kuroishi Station was demolished; the station has been operated as a since November 1984. On April 1, 1986 a new station building was completed, the station reverted to its original name; the Kuroishi Line ceased operations on April 1, 1998. Hirosaki-Higashikōmae Station
Hirosaki-Higashikōmae Station is a railway station in Hirosaki, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kōnan Railway Company. Hirosaki-Higashikōmae Station is served by the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line, lies 0.9 kilometers from the northern terminus of the line at Hirosaki, Hirosaki-Higashikōmae Station has a one side platform serving a single bi-directional track. The station building is attended during normal working hours; the station opened on September 7, 1927 as a simple stop named Matsumori-chō Stop. It became a full station from March 18, 1929, renamed Minami-Hirosaki Station on June 17 of the same year. On April 1, 1988, the station was renamed Higashi-Kōgyōkōmae Station, it was renamed Hirosaki-Higashikōmae Station on April 1, 2005. Hiraka Station
Hiraka Station is a railway station in Hirosaki, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kōnan Railway Company. Hiraka Station is served by the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line, lies 7.5 kilometers from the northern terminus of the line at Hirosaki, Hiraka Station has a two opposed side platforms with an elevated station building. The station is staffed and serves as the operational headquarters for the Kōnan Line. Hiraka Station was opened on September 7, 1927. Freight operations were discontinued in 1984. Wicket gate operation was turned over to a separate company in October 1985. A new station building was completed in December 1986. On June 12, 2007, an accident occurred at Hiraka Station. Onoekōkōmae Station
Onoekōkōmae Station is a railway station on the Kōnan Railway Kōnan Line in Hirakawa, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Konan Railway. Onoekōkōmae Station is served by the 16.8 km Konan Railway Konan Line between Hirosaki and Kuroishi, is located 12.5 km from the southern terminus of the line at Hirosaki. The station has a one side platform serving a single bidirectional line, it is unattended, has no station building other than a small shelter on the platform. Onoekōkōmae Station opened on April 1, 1999 to serve the local prefectural high school. In fiscal 2011, the station was used by an average of 151 passengers daily. Hirakawa, Aomori
Hirakawa is a city located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 December 2017, the city had an estimated population of 31,708 in 11,860 households, a population density of 92.0 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 346.01 square kilometres. Hirakawa is located in the hills to be northwest of Lake Towada; the Iwaki River flows through the city. Part of the city is within the borders of the Kuroishi Onsenkyō Prefectural Natural Park. The area around Hirakawa was part of the Hirosaki Domain of the Tsugaru clan during the Edo period. After the Meiji Restoration, it became part of Minamitsugaru District; the modern city of Hirakawa was established on January 1, 2006, from the merger of the towns of Hiraka and Onoe, the village of Ikarigaseki. Hirakawa has a mayor-council form of government with a directly elected mayor and a unicameral city legislature of 20 members; the city elects two members to the Aomori Prefectural Assembly. The economy of Hirakawa is agricultural, with rice and apples as the predominant crops; the city government is encouraging a local brand of beef. Hirakawa has nine public elementary schools and four public junior high schools operated by the city government, two public high schools operated by the Aomori Prefectural Board of Education.
