2015[edit]

Virginia's 29th Senate district election, 2015, held 3 November 2015, was a contest between Hal Parrish and Jeremy McPike for the seat that had been vacated by Charles J. Colgan.[2] McPike received campaign donations from Everytown for Gun Safety, Planned Parenthood and Latinos Vote![3] Former Congressman Thomas M. Davis had said, "I give the edge to Parrish. Obama carried the district, but in off-year turnouts, minorities don’t show up."[4]
