Yaanai Paagan (English: Mahout) is a 1960 Indian, Tamil-language film directed by M. A. Thirumugam.[2] The film featured Udaykumar and B. Sarojadevi in the lead roles.[1]

Production[edit]

The film was dubbed into Telugu and released in 1961 as Evaru Donga[3] and into Hindi, also released in 1961, as Mahavat.[4][1]

Soundtrack[edit]

Music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan while the lyrics were penned by A. Maruthakasi, Kovai Kumaradevan, Puratchidasan and Alangudi Somu. Playback singers are Sirkazhi Govindarajan, A. L. Raghavan, T. M. Soundararajan, P. Leela, P. Susheela, K. Jamuna Rani and L. R. Eswari.[5]
