This article presents lists of the literary events and publications in 1922. Under modern copyright law of the United States, all works published before January 1, 1923, with a proper copyright notice entered the public domain in the United States no later than 75 years from the date of the copyright. Hence books published in 1922 or earlier entered the public domain in the United States in 1998.
