The 1925 24 Hours of Le Mans, officially 3rd 24 Hours Grand Prix of Endurance (French: 3e Grand Prix d' Endurance de 24 Heures)[1] took place on 20 and 21 June 1925. It was the last of the three races spanning 1923 to 1925 to determine the winner of the Rudge-Whitworth Triennial Cup.

For this race, the start was held on the Mulsanne Straight, instead of in its now traditional location following Maison Blanche.

1925 was the first year of the "Le Mans" style start in which, at the drop of the French Tricolor, the drivers had to run across the track to their cars, start them, and drive off as quickly as possible. This start style would persist until 1969, when safety concerns led to its end.

This race also saw the death of French driver Marius Mestivier when his Amilcar was involved in a fatal accident on lap 17.

Three Oméga Six cars were to take part in this race: #25 (drivers: Jacques Margueritte and Louis Bonne), #26 (Albert Clément and Roland Coty), and #27 (Jacques Achille Boyriven and "Sabipa", born Louis Charavel). During testing Margueritte's car would prove to have "major problems", and all three cars withdrew from the race.
