The 1976–77 A Group was the 29th season of the A Football Group, the top Bulgarian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948.

Ivan Georgiev Stoyanov was a Bulgarian footballer who played as a midfielder for Bulgaria in the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He also played for Spartak Sofia and Levski Sofia.
