The 2013 WTA Tour was the elite professional tennis circuit organized by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) for the 2013 tennis season. The 2013 WTA Tour calendar comprised the Grand Slam tournaments (supervised by the International Tennis Federation, the WTA Premier tournaments, the WTA International tournaments, the Fed Cup, and the year-end championships. Also included in the 2013 calendar is the Hopman Cup, which was organized by the ITF and does not distribute ranking points.
Serena Williams finished the year as world No. 1 for the third time in her career. She won eleven tournaments during the season, including two majors at the French Open and the US Open, as well as the WTA Tour Championships. She also won five Premier Mandatory and Premier 5 events.

2013 WTA Tour Championships
The 2013 WTA Tour Championships was a women's tennis tournament at Istanbul, Turkey from 22 to 27 October 2013. It was the 43rd edition of the singles event and the 38th edition of the doubles competition. The tournament, held at the Sinan Erdem Dome, was contested by eight singles players and four doubles teams. It was the larger of two season-ending championships on the 2013 WTA Tour.
Sinan Erdem Dome hosted the WTA Championships for the second time in 2012.
Serena Williams won her second French Open title in 2013.
Victoria Azarenka successfully defended her Australian Open title in 2013.
Maria Sharapova reached her second French Open final in 2013.
