The 2019 Super Cup was the second edition of the Super Cup and the 40th season of the national knockout football competition in India. The competition was sponsored by Hero MotoCorp and is officially known as the Hero Super Cup. The competition began with the qualifiers on 15 March at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar and was concluded with the final on 13 April.

Football Club Goa is an Indian professional football club based in Margao, Goa, that competes in the Indian Super League (ISL), the top flight of Indian football. The club was established on 26 August 2014. Nicknamed as Gaurs, the club plays their home matches at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao.
Zico, Goa's first head coach led them to the finals in the 2015 Indian Super League season.
