Contested over 276 laps -- extended from 267 laps due to an double overtime finish, on the 1.5 mile (2.4 km) intermediate quad-oval, it was the ninth race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Chase Elliott won the race, his first of the season, and 19th of his career. This win also snapped a 42-race winless streak for Elliott dating back to the 2022 YellaWood 500 in October 2022 at Talladega Superspeedway.
