Albert Victor Alexander, 1st Earl Alexander of Hillsborough, was a British Labour and Co-operative politician. He was three times First Lord of the Admiralty, including during the Second World War, and then Minister of Defence under Clement Attlee.

Sheffield Hillsborough (UK Parliament constituency)
Sheffield Hillsborough was a Parliamentary constituency in the City of Sheffield. It was considered a safe Labour seat and was represented by Helen Jackson from 1992 to 2005. She did not stand again in the 2005 general election and was succeeded by Angela Smith.
