PJSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, commonly known as Aeroflot, is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Russia. Aeroflot is headquartered in the Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow, with its hub being Sheremetyevo International Airport. The Federal Agency for State Property Management, an agency of the Government of Russia, owns 73.77% of the company, with the rest of the shares being public float.

The Tupolev ANT-20bis was used for cargo flights from Moscow to Mineralnye Vody before World War II.
An Aeroflot PS-84 (a Douglas DC-3, modified by fitment of Soviet engines) at Moscow City Airport in 1940. The Lisunov Li-2, a license-built version of the DC-3, became the backbone of the Aeroflot fleet after the opening of the Eastern Front in World War II.
After its introduction in 1954, the Ilyushin Il-14 operated on Aeroflot's All-Union services.
Central Administrative Okrug
Central Administrative Okrug, or Tsentralny Administrativny Okrug, is one of the twelve administrative okrugs of Moscow, Russia. Population: 772,258 (2021 Census); 741,967 (2010 Russian census); 701,353 (2002 Census);. It is the core of the city that includes its oldest, historical parts: Kremlin and the former Bely Gorod and Zemlyanoy Gorod; with certain churches and fortifications as old as from the 14th to 15th century. It is also the site of Russia's highest government institutions, such as the Government house, the State Duma, the Federation Council, and most ministries. A large part of the territory is occupied by office buildings, especially in the “Moscow-City” business district on the west side of the Okrug.
