Akzhol Makhamadzhanovich Makhmudov is a Kyrgyz Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the silver medal in 77 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He won a gold medal at the 2022 World Champions

Kurshab is a large village in Osh Region of Kyrgyzstan. It is part of the Özgön District. Its population was 20,471 in 2021. It is situated near the river Kurshab, between the cities Osh and Özgön.
