Alexander Petrovich Kunitsyn was a Russian lawyer, professor, Active State Councillor. He was a favourite teacher of the Russian poet and playwright, Alexander Pushkin.

Ivan Ivanovich Pushchin was a Russian civil servant and Decembrist. In school, he became a close friend of the writer, Alexander Pushkin, due to the similarity of their names.
