Arthur Cardinal Hinsley was a senior-ranking English prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as Archbishop of Westminster from 1935 until his death and was made a cardinal in 1937.

The cardinal electors in the 1939 papal conclave numbered 62 and all of them participated. They are arranged by region, and within each alphabetically.
