Ashadeepam is a 1953 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by G. R. Rao and produced by T. E. Vasudevan. The film stars Sathyan, B. S. Saroja, Gemini Ganesan and Padmini. The film had a musical score by V. Dakshinamoorthy. The film was also simultaneously produced in Tamil under the title Aasai Magan.

B. S. Saroja is an Indian actress in Malayalam and Tamil films. She is the daughter of Johnson, who acted in the first Malayalam film, Vigathakumaran. She acted with MGR and Sivaji in their only movie together, Koondukkili. Apart from Koondukkili, B.S. Saroja also was the heroine in two more MGR movies, namely "Genoa" and "Puthumai Pithan" of 1950s.
