Beast is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written & directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. The film stars Vijay in the lead role, alongside Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Shaji Chen, VTV Ganesh, Ankur Vikal, Aparna Das, Sathish Krishnan, Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley. In the film, Veera Raghavan, an ex-RAW agent, seeks to rescue the hostages in the shopping mall, which is hijacked by terrorists, whose intentions are to free their leader Umar Farooq, who was previously captured by Veera.
