World Para Athletics Junior Championships

The World Para Athletics Junior Championships are a biennial Paralympic athletics event organized by World Para Athletics, a subcommittee of the International Paralympic Committee. It features athletics events contested by athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities in two age groups; the first Championships were held in Nottwil, Switzerland in 2017, will return there for the second edition in 2019. They are a partial Paralympic parallel to the IAAF World U20 Championships for able-bodied athletes, although both junior and youth events are held in the Paralympic equivalent. Castel del Piano

Castel del Piano is a town and comune of Province of Grosseto in the Tuscany, central Italy. The area of Castel del Piano is known to have been inhabited in prehistoric times, but the town itself is mentioned for the first time in a document from 890 AD. From 1175 to 1321 it was a possession of the Aldobrandeschi family. After the fall of the Republic of Siena, it became part of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany; the city is divided into four contrade. The palio was raced for the first time in 1402; the contrade are: Borgo Monumento Poggio Storte Chiesa della Propositura Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie The municipality is formed by the municipal seat of Castel del Piano and the villages of Montegiovi and Montenero d'Orcia.
