Beth Hart is an American musician from Los Angeles, California. She rose to fame with the release of her 1999 single "LA Song " from her second album Screamin' for My Supper. The single was a number one hit in New Zealand, as well as reaching the top 5 of the US Adult Contemporary and Top 10 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 charts.

Screamin' for My Supper is the second studio album by American singer/songwriter Beth Hart. It was released on August 3, 1999, by Atlantic Records. The album features her most notable single to date, "LA Song ", which was a number one hit in New Zealand and a Top 5 hit on the US Adult Contemporary Singles Chart. The album peaked at #143 on the Billboard albums chart in the US; and #22 on the RIANZ albums chart in New Zealand. "Delicious Surprise" was later recorded by Jo Dee Messina on her 2005 album of the same name, from which it was released as a single.
