William Allan Carroll is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. Carroll played in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1981 to 1987 for the New York Islanders, Edmonton Oilers and Detroit Red Wings. He won the Stanley Cup four times, from 1981 to 1983 with the Islanders, and in 1985 with the Oilers. Carroll was born in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up in West Rouge on the eastern border of Toronto.

The London Knights are a junior ice hockey team from London, Ontario, Canada, playing in the Ontario Hockey League, one of the leagues of the Canadian Hockey League. The Knights started out in 1965 as the London Nationals but changed to their current name in 1968. The Knights have won two Memorial Cup championships.
