Brian Joseph Dumoulin is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). Dumoulin was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, and previously played for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Seattle Kraken are a professional ice hockey team based in Seattle. The Kraken compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference and began play during the league's 2021–22 season. They play their home games at Climate Pledge Arena.
Matty Beniers was the first Kraken draft pick, selected at the 2021 NHL entry draft.
