Bungotakada is a city located in Ōita Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. As of 30 November 2023, the city had an estimated population of 21,980 in 11038 households, and a population density of 96 persons per km². The total area of the city is 206.24 km2 (79.63 sq mi).
