Burch Taylor Smith is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, and Oakland Athletics. He has also played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Saitama Seibu Lions, and in the KBO League for the Hanwha Eagles. Smith was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 11th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut in 2013.
