Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf
Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf was an Austrian composer, violinist, and silvologist. He was a friend of both Haydn and Mozart. His best-known works include the German Singspiele Doktor und Apotheker and a number of programmatic symphonies based on Ovid's Metamorphoses.

Franz Joseph Haydn was an Austrian composer of the Classical period. He was instrumental in the development of chamber music such as the string quartet and piano trio. His contributions to musical form have led him to be called "Father of the Symphony" and "Father of the String quartet".
