Carlos Arnoldo Salcido Flores is a Mexican former professional footballer. He started his career as a centre-back and played most of it as left-back, then converted to defensive midfielder and ended it as centre-back. He won the 2012 Olympic gold medal.

Club Deportivo Guadalajara, often simply known as Guadalajara and nicknamed Chivas, is a Mexican professional football club based in the Guadalajara metropolitan area, Jalisco, Mexico. The team competes in the Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican football. Guadalajara is one of the ten founding members of the Primera División and is one of seven teams that have never been relegated. As well as being one of the only few Mexican football clubs to ever win a CONCACAF treble.
