Chesaning is a village in Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,430 at the 2020 census. The village is located within Chesaning Township.

M-57 is an east–west state trunkline highway in the US state of Michigan. The 105.377-mile highway connects US Highway 131 near Rockford on the west end to M-15 near Otisville in the Lower Peninsula.
