He currently competes in the Heavyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is a former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. A professional fighter since 2014, Gane has also formerly competed for TKO Major League MMA where he was the Heavyweight Champion. As of November 14, 2023, he is #2 in the UFC heavyweight rankings.
