Crahan Denton was an American stage, film and television actor. One of his most famous film roles was in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), in which he portrays "Walter Cunningham," a client of the main character, lawyer Atticus Finch. He acts as the leader of a mob that attempts to lynch another of Finch's clients.

The screenplay by Horton Foote is based on Harper Lee's 1960 Pulitzer Prize–winning novel of the same name. The film stars Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch and Mary Badham as Scout. It marked the film debut of Robert Duvall, William Windom, and Alice Ghostley.
