The de Young Museum, formally the M. H. de Young Memorial Museum, is a fine arts museum located in San Francisco, California, United States, named for early San Francisco newspaperman M. H. de Young.

Alma de Bretteville Spreckels and her husband Adolph built the museum and donated it to the city.
The design of the California Palace of the Legion of Honor was based on the Palais de la Légion d'Honneur.
